Happy Birthday beautiful puppies ♥

A year ago my dog Phoebe (yes named after Phoebe from FRIENDS - the best show EVER) had 7 of the most beautiful puppies I've ever seen. The experience was incredible, especially because we ended up keeping a pup called Peaches.

Today they are 1 year old, so enjoy the montage of beautiful pups!

Aaaaah memories....

Lush mmm

I have only set foot in Lush a few times, I know shock horror!! This is basically because for some reason the way the shop is laid out panics me, I always find the employees a bit too enthusiastic and passionate about the products and they usually scare me off before I've even looked at a product. Or I get hard sold to the point where I'll leave having spent three times the amount of money I'd planned to, coming out with things that I'll never use but was too scared to say no to and will be far to embarassed to return. (I am a sucker for hard sellers, I swear they see me coming and sense my weakness haha!)

BUT I have discovered the gem of Lush: Their website: https://www.lush.co.uk
It's easy to use with super speedy delivery and comes packaged SO nicely!!

So I thought I would have an online spree and I love my new purchases!
(Unfortunately I was online shopping whilst watching Harry Potter so a lot of my purchases are a bit weird and HP-inspired.)

The First:
Pretty Dragon Egg with 'lava' inside!
The 'lava' inside the Dragon Egg
The Dragon Egg Bath Bomb
£3.20 each
(I told you - I couldn't resist after watching Norbert hatching in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone!!!)

 Lush says:
'You will experience a firework display of colour, a fiery crackle of popping candy, a swirling landscape of creamy foam and a drift of paper dragon scales.'

A mon avis...

Pros
- REALLY cool watching the dragon egg explode and the gold lava coming out of it
- Gorgeous smell of jasmine, citruses and bergamot
- It uses lemon oil which I love.
- It's made with all natural ingredients and Safe synthetics
- It's preservative free
- Did I mention it is awesome watching the lava exploding?!?!

Cons
- The dragon lava does really look like you've done a wee in the bath so maybe don't use it for a romantic bath....
- It leaves glitter ALL OVER the bath and you so you have to sometimes shower afterwards and wash the bath.

To Summarise
BUY a Dragon Egg Bath Bomb, they're slightly messy and funny to look at but they are really cool and fun and it really does make you feel like you're Harry Potter which is something that I have always wanted to feel!!

And:
Beautiful purple and gold bath bombs
Decorated with cinnamon sticks

 Phoenix Rising Bath Bomb
£3.20 each
(Again I told you!!! I had Faulks the Phoenix in mind!!)

Lush says:
'Your phoenix will sink to the bottom then rise in triumph, her mythical sparkling purple and green plumage unfurling through your bath water.'

A mon avis...

Pros
- A gorgeously warm cinnamon smell (not for everyone but for me -YES)
- BEAUTIFUL to watch - majestic colours
- Moisturising and soothing
- Contains cocoa butter, shea butter and jojoba oil sooth your skin and make it super super soft!
- It's made with all natural ingredients and Safe synthetics
- It's preservative free
- It smells of christmas!!! mmm cinnamon
(Christmas is my favourite season and the smell of christmas makes me ridiculously happy!!)

Cons
- It will stain and dye your bath pink...eeeek
(But it does come off it its properly scrubbed!)
- It doesn't quite 'fizz' like a bath bomb should, instead you have to actually crumble it yourself..
- It is fairly greasy which worked fine for my skin type but might not for others'.

To Summarise
Phoenix Rising Bath Bombs are beautiful to look at and gorgeous to smell, ok so it does make your bath pink but I like pink....who doesn't and I think it's definitely worth it for the magical phoenix experience!!

NEXT THING ON MY LIST TO BUY:

The 'Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment' bath melt.
I can't wait to try it although I'm worried that I might try to eat it first!!!

ENJOY.

Olsen obsession...

Like pretty much every other girl in the world, I have always had an Olsen obsession and I find their style so inspiring and unique!!

EVERY true Olsen fan has a particular twin that they admire
and look up to and support the
fashion of over the other.

Mine?

The Unbelievably gorgeous Ashley Olsen.

*Sigh* I wish I looked like her!*
I have LOVED the Olsen duo ever since I bought Passport to Paris, my first ever Mary-Kate and Ashley video (haha videos!! I feel like such an old woman!!)

They both dress incredibly but for me Ashley's style is so effortlessly chic and timeless.

This dress is so chic it makes me want to cry!!!
Teaming burnt orange fur with black accessories - Perfection.
Even going to get Starbucks in denim hot-pants, ray bans and a bandana, she looks so chic.
Louboutin ankle boots are always a good shout, especially with a french style monochrome outfit.
Her black blazer is just to die for!!!

They constantly wear gorgeous outfit after gorgeous outfit and I will follow their fashion forever!

HOWEVER
I did worship their style at age 11 and it did not turn out well!

CASE AND POINT.

BUT.
To conclude....
I love the Olsen twins' fashion sense and style and I was one of the first to buy their book Influence!!
It's the PERFECT book to read or flick through the photos when feeling the fashion bug!

mmmmm all this Olsen talk is making me crave a feel good film...

BLISS.

I'd love to know who you're favourite Olsen sister is and if you're inspired by their style!

Benefit spluurge.... ♥

So I was in town and had a mini money spluuuurge!!!!

Benefit

I boooought...

Two Benefit Lipsticks

I LOVE Benefit lipsticks, they are creamy and moisturising and have a full-colour coverage and a light, glossy sheen with no perceptible shimmer. I have been a huge supporter of these for a while now and would recommend them wholeheartedly so I added another cheeky two to my collection!!

♥ Benefit Lipstick in 'Wild Card'
A beautiful pigmented plum coloured creamy lipstick
(comes out quite dark but it makes your lips look scrummy)

♥ Benefit Lipstick in 'La La Land'
A pink-brown nude creamy lipstick

♥ Benefit blusher in 'Sugarbomb'
I am really excited about sampling this product!! I use benefit powder blushers religiously but I have never used this blusher and have heard only great things about it.
It is described as 'a swirl of 4 complimenting, shimmering shades of peach, soft plum, pink and rose' that come together to create 'natural radiance' giving you a 'sweet rush of gorgeous'
SOUNDS GOOD TO ME.

                                                  ♥

SEQUINS AND SPARKLES!

I am currently on the hunt for a gorgeous pair of...
SPARKLY/ SEQUIN HOTPANTS.

Last year, I borrowed a friend's sequin hot pants for a night out in Brighton and I LOVED them but since then I haven't been able to find any! I'm open to most colours, preferably nude/mink tones or navy blue/ black. I think they'd be perfect for summer!!!
I love anything that sparkles!

My friend Hetta and I before a night out in Brighton last year
(I know I look like a dwarf in this picture!! Haha)

If any of you know any links to sparkly sequin hot pants or know any brands that have them in stock, please let me know!!!!

Thanks girlies

Girly haul....

I got paid today AND it was a gorgeously sunny day SO I decided to celebrate by doing a cheeky bit of shopping!
Alarm bells for bank account!!!

First Stop:

Starbucks

In my opinion, when doing a shop, a chocolate Starbucks frappuccino is essential for keeping you hydrated and refreshed! The worst thing in the world when shopping is having a splitting headache! I always carry around a refreshing drink and a snack with me to stop me from losing energy.

Then to...

Jack Wills

I bought......
The Merrifield Dress in Cream Floral £79.50

The Merrifield Dress in Navy floral £79.50                     The Ellenthorpe Dress in blue floral £98

The Hemsley Dress in blue/white stripe £69.50

 FOUR DRESSES!!!! EEEEEK
BUT I really should mention that I do work at Jack Wills so I get a mega mega discount on the clothes that I buy there!!

The on to:

Dare Hairdressers

Moroccan Hair Oil £12.99

This Moroccan hair oil is pretty expensive for a pretty small bottle but it works WONDERS on my hair. I have really REALLY thick curly hair that I straighten regularly and it dries my hair out and gives me split ends. I massage my hair when towel dried with only a tiny dollop of Moroccan oil and then straighten with my GHDs and it leaves my hair gorgeous and shiny! I really recommend this product, it enriches the hair and leaves it looking incredible and glossy.

The 'Original' Tangle Teezer in Bubblegum Pink £10.20

Tangle Teezers are my go to hair product! These detangling brushes not only work amazingly, gliding through any hair pain-free no matter how knotted it is, but are also so cheap and really pretty. They come in lots of different sizes and colours so I have several to fit my mood!! Lame I know!!

And then...

I went home and made myself something to make me feel better about all that money I spent!!!

Overall a good GOOD day in my opinion.
Hope you're all having a wonderful easter!!

A teensy little jewellery haul...

There is a gorgeous little jewellery shop on my high street called 'Lola Rose', on my way home today I nipped inside (just for a second) but left with a pretty huge dent in my bank account...

WHOOPS...

RING LOVING ♥

Tahoe Ring (Blue Sandstone)                                                                               Posey Ring (Powder Blue Quartzite)
                  £49                                                                                                                                              £45

I never really wear rings but I really want to start and I think these two GORGEOUS new ones are the perfect addition to my jewellery collection. I really really love them, especially the colours, I think they will look fantastic in summer with a sundress when I'm tanned.

Now lets just cross our fingers for sun!!!
